Terms of Use

License

Interview Assistant is licensed to a single user for use on a single device. This license is non-transferable and may not be shared, sublicensed, or assigned to another individual or entity. Each purchase grants one activation for one machine.

License Term

A Starter license does not expire and is limited to 15 interviews. A Pro license gives unlimited interviews for 3 months from the date of purchase, and a Premium license for 6 months. Renewing a Pro or Premium license extends the same license key by that plan's term (3 or 6 months), counted from its current end date, or from the renewal date if it has already ended. Renewal is never automatic; nothing is charged without you starting a payment. Lifetime licenses are no longer sold; existing Lifetime licenses do not expire.

Prohibited Use

• •Reselling, redistributing, or sublicensing the software or license key.
• •Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling any part of the application.
• •Using the software during actual job assessments, formal exams, or any evaluated process where AI assistance is prohibited.
• •Interview Assistant is intended for practice interviews and personal preparation only.

Privacy

We collect your email address and payment details to process your purchase and deliver your licence. To validate your licence we also store a random device ID, your interview count, and the start time and length of each session. We do not store interview audio, transcripts, or AI-generated answers. Audio is processed by third-party speech-to-text and AI providers (Deepgram for speech-to-text; Anthropic by default, or OpenAI or Groq if selected). Your PC sends call audio directly to the speech-to-text provider, and sends the interviewer's transcribed question — with your resume and job description — directly to the AI provider. Interview content does not pass through or get stored on our servers. These providers handle data under their own terms. On your PC, no audio or transcript is written to disk. Session history is held in memory and cleared when you quit the app or clear the session.
